About the venue
The TWTC Nangang Exhibition Hall is an expansion of the TWTC in the cosmopolitan Taiwanese district of Xinyi in Taipei. The hall in the eastern part of TWTC is situated in Taipei's Nangang district. From Xinyi, the venue is a 15-minute drive along the Huandong Expressway. The hall has two show floors, which can host over 2,400 booths on its 45, 360 square-meter exhibition area.
TWTC's construction was a brainchild of Taiwan's non-profit trade organizer Taiwan External Trade Development Council. The facility, which officially opened for exhibition in December 1985, is aimed at providing the global business community with a multi-functional venue for international trade exhibitions and conferences. TWTC's four-in-one complex in Xinyi boasts various amenities including the Exhibition Hall, International Convention Center, International Trade Building and Grand Hyatt Taipei.
