Organized by the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, the fair will showcase new electronic products to buyers from all over the world. It will feature Audio visual products, Digital imaging products,, Electronic accessories, Electronic manufacturing services (EMS), Electronic parts, components and product technology, Healthcare appliances, Home appliances, Home tech, Lighting products, Office automation & equipment, Personal electronics, Security products, Telecommunication products, Trade services and Visual & sound.

The fair will feature a Hall of Fame, a Lighting Section and seminars. Meanwhile, it will be held concurrently with the International ICT Expo, an event for information, communications and technology companies to showcase their latest software solution and services.

The previous 2007 spring fair featured 2,406 exhibitors and over 3,200 booths from 22 countries and regions. A total of 51,469 buyers from 153 countries and regions attended the show to see the latest innovation in the industry.

Global Sources will be at the show with its own booth to promote the company's total sourcing solution consisting of print, online and face-to-face sourcing channels for buyers and suppliers. Moreover, show participants are invited to extend their sourcing activities at the China Sourcing Fair: Electronics & Components held at the AsiaWorld-Expo located next to the Hong Kong International Airport.
