Asia's largest sourcing event for fashion accessories opens door in Shanghai
Buyers from all over China and overseas attended the China Sourcing Fair: Fashion Accessories in Shanghai today to source the latest product designs by China and Asian suppliers. The three-day event (December 12-14, 2007) is held at the Shanghai New Int'l Expo Centre, China.
The Shanghai fair is the next stop after Hong Kong for the China Sourcing Fair, Asia's biggest trade show for fashion accessories. It features hundreds of quality suppliers from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, the Philippines and India.
The reputation of the fair as an effective sourcing event drew worldwide buyers' attention. Well-known international buyers, including Coles Myer, Gap, H & M, Li & Fung, Sears, Target and Tommy Hilfiger, have pre-registered for the show. Domestic volume buyers, including Hua Lian GMS Shopping Centre, Ren Ren Le Group and TVSN, have also signed up to attend the show.
As a specialized event in the industry, the fair introduces buyers to a full range of hot product categories in the industry. These include Casual & fashion handbags; Evening bags; Fashion jewelry; Fashion belts; Hats & caps; Ties, scarves & shawls; Hair accessories; Casual & fashion footwear; Umbrellas; Gloves & mittens; Sunglasses and Travel bags & luggage.
In response to an increasing concern in product safety issues, Global Sources specially held a free conference this afternoon addressing the health & safety requirements on fashion jewelry. Both exhibitors and buyers gained practical information on the testing requirements of costume jewelry for the US and European markets.
The fair is co-located with the China Sourcing Fair: Baby & Children's Products, another professional trade show organized also by Global Sources. The twin events bring together 440 booths, offering buyers an expanded product range for more business opportunities.
The China Sourcing Fairs will run three days in Shanghai until December 14, 2007. Stay with us for more updated news at the show floor!
