Taipei International Auto Parts & Accessories Show (Taipei AMPA) 2011 attracted a total of 53,905 local and international visitors at its 27th edition at the Taipei World Trade Center Nangang Exhibition Hall, Taiwan on April 12 to 15, 2011. The turnout was also shared with the co-located Taipei International Automobile Electronics Show (AutoTronics Taipei). Together, the shows gathered a total of 1,057 exhibitors with 2,731 booths. Foreign visitor attendance totaled about 5,300, which did not meet the expected 10% growth due to the recent quake in Japan. Taiwan's leading auto parts and automobile electronics exhibit, however, staged a successful four-day run overall.
Visitors surveyed over 50 product categories. The most visited pavilions included Driving & Security Assist Systems, LED Auto lighting, Hy-brid-EV, New Energy Vehicle Parts and Custom Car Parts & Accessories. Buyers also learned from on-site services such as the Taipei international automotive electronics forum, automotive market trend seminars and one-on-one procurement meetings. Projected transactions totaled over US$48.3 million.
Taipei AMPA will resume at the same venue on April 10 to 13, 2012.
