MAGIC, one of the world's largest fashion trade events, will be held February 17 to 19, 2009 at the Las Vegas Convention Center and Las Vegas Hilton in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. The upcoming fair marks the launching of "MAGIA at MAGIC", a new pavilion dedicated to the Hispanic and Latin American markets. Magia, the Spanish word for "magic", aims to be a platform for retailers, buyers and marketers looking to tap into this growing demographic, which now represents more than 45 million people in the US.
Also debuting at the show is PREMIUM AT MAGIC, an expanded section dedicated to high-end and contemporary men's and women's collections.
Visitors of the show could also expect to again visit ECOllection, which focuses on environment-friendly and sustainable fashion. Launched in August of last year, this zone will present eco-friendly lines for men, women and kids as well as beauty products, home decor, gifts and more.
Also returning this February is S.L.A.T.E. (Select, Lifestyle, Apparel, Trends, Emergence), the fashion-forward event for emerging skate, surf and street lifestyle brands.
Held every February and August, the MAGIC Marketplace consists of four concurrent events, MAGIC, WWDMAGIC, MAGIC Kids and Sourcing at MAGIC, providing a comprehensive range of apparel and accessories for buyers in the industry.
Among the show's loyal visitors are big-name brands such as Macy's, Dillard's, Target, Wal-Mart, Kmart, Sears, Kohl's and J.C. Penney.
