    The 31st edition of COMPUTEX TAIPEI highlighted popular Information and Communications Technology (ICT) products at Taiwan's Taipei World Trade Center and NANGANG Exhibition Hall on May 31 to June 4, 2011.

    The five-day event showcased PCs, e-Books, smart phones, 3D tech and cloud services, among other ICT innovations in demand in the market today. Around 1,800 exhibitors, including leading companies, displayed their products in 5,300 booths. Exhibits grew 9% from last year. Visitors rose to 134,467 from last year's 121,515. International buyers were also up 3.1% from the previous year. With the positive exhibitor and buyer turnout, Asia's largest computer exhibition generated an estimated US$25 billion business deals.

    The next COMPUTEX TAIPEI is scheduled on June 5 to 9, 2012.
